When I tried this smoothie for the first time, I didn’t believe it was going to be so good.
It has banana and spinach and peanut butter in it. Yak, I was thinking. Okay, it looked like it was going to be a healthy drink. I had been to the gym and was in for some good stuff. And I made it and drank it.
And it turned out to be surprisingly, amazingly and deliciously good!
Some of the ingredients that are in this Peanach-Smoothie are the healthy, full of nutrients flaxseeds.
Health Benefits for flaxseeds are:
may help lowering blood pressure and cholesterol
may stabilize blood sugar
great for digestion
great for heart health
anti-inflammatory
antioxidant
Just try out this Peanach-Smoothie!
Ingredients:
· 1 small #banana
· 1 tbsp #peanutbutter
· 1 tbsp ground #flaxseeds
· 1 cup #spinach leaves
· 1 cup #orange juice
· 2 tbsp #yoghurt
· 1/2 cup #blueberries
Preparation:
Put all the ingredients in a blender
It is best to put the banana on top for easier blending
Blend all the ingredients until smooth, around 30 seconds depending on type of blender
Makes around 400 ml (1 1/3 cup) of Peanach-Smoothie.
