If you like the flavour of licorice then this tea is for you!
When you are making fennel seed tea you can either use the whole #fennelseeds or fennel seed powder. I suggest that you use the seeds instead of the powder. So much tastier!
I bought the fennel seeds and with a mortar and pestle I crushed the fennel seeds into fennel seed powder with tiny little pieces. The advantage of grinding the fennel seeds yourself with a mortar and pestle is that the oils and flavour will be released. Do this just before you make the tea. It smells so good! Delicious!
Just put the powder into a tea cup, add 1/2 teaspoon maple sugar butter. Then add 1 cup of boiling water and ready is your healthy and tasty tea! So yummy. And so many health benefits that when drinking this tea you are feeling so good!
I had just a tiny jar of maple sugar butter and added 1/2 teaspoon of this delicious cream just to sweeten it and it turned out to be really good. You can also just add some maple or brown sugar for your sweetness effect.
