How to make Garlic and Ginger Croutons recipe

Croutons are an easy way of using left-over slices of bread. Instead of throwing them out make your own garlic and ginger croutons!

Make a healthy salad topper with healthy garlic and ginger. Garlic and ginger croutons are very delicious!

You can make a bunch and put them in an air-tight container for storage in your freezer or fridge.

Great as a salad topper or over soup, like a tomato soup!









Health properties #garlic, may:

  • fight sickness - including common cold

  • reduce blood pressure

  • lower cholesterol levels

  • contain antioxidants against Alzheimer and dementia

  • improve bone health













Health properties #ginger, may:

  • reduce risk of diabetes and cancer

  • be working as anti-inflammatory

  • settle upset stomach

  • relieve period pain and morning sickness




Ingredients:

  • olive oil

  • 5 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 inch ginger root, peeled and grated

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • 4 slices of bread, cubed (optional cut off crust/edges)

Preparations:

  • heat olive oil on medium heat

  • add garlic and ginger

  • sauté for 3 minutes

  • add salt and pepper

  • add the bread cubes and fry until golden brown

Ready to eat!

Enjoy with your salad or soup!
