Croutons are an easy way of using left-over slices of bread. Instead of throwing them out make your own garlic and ginger croutons!
Make a healthy salad topper with healthy garlic and ginger. Garlic and ginger croutons are very delicious!
You can make a bunch and put them in an air-tight container for storage in your freezer or fridge.
Great as a salad topper or over soup, like a tomato soup!

Health properties #garlic, may:
fight sickness - including common cold
reduce blood pressure
lower cholesterol levels
contain antioxidants against Alzheimer and dementia
improve bone health

Health properties #ginger, may:
reduce risk of diabetes and cancer
be working as anti-inflammatory
settle upset stomach
prevent heart disease
relieve period pain and morning sickness
Ingredients:
olive oil
5 garlic cloves, minced
1 inch ginger root, peeled and grated
salt and pepper to taste
4 slices of bread, cubed (optional cut off crust/edges)
Preparations:
heat olive oil on medium heat
add garlic and ginger
sauté for 3 minutes
add salt and pepper
add the bread cubes and fry until golden brown
Ready to eat!
Enjoy with your salad or soup!
