Plum and Raspberry Fruit Pie

Updated: Oct 4, 2021

Delicious Plum and Raspberry Fruit Pie made with fresh plums and frozen raspberries.

Easy to make fruit pie with Tenderflake* pie shell. Just top it with fruit that you have in your fridge and bake it in your oven! I had a basket full with plums and a bag of frozen raspberries. I added some sugar and flour to the pie shell to set it for a good pie filling and baked it.

I used tapioca flour to set the fruit filling.

Ingredients:

  • 13 #plums or 1 lb (454 g), pitted and cut into 4 pieces

  • 2 cups (235g) #raspberries, frozen

  • 2 1/2 teaspoons #tapioca flour

  • 1/3 cup icing sugar

  • 1 frozen pie shell (#Tenderflake*)

Preparations:

  • preheat oven to 400°F (200°C)

  • wash plums and cut into 4 pieces, get the pits out and discard

  • put plum pieces with raspberries, tapioca flour and icing sugar in bowl and mix gently

  • spread fruit mixture on pie shell

  • bake in pre-heated oven for 30-40 minutes until pie dough is golden

  • let Plum and Raspberry Fruit Pie cool down, so the fruit filling can set

  • enjoy with vanilla ice cream and/or whipped cream

Enjoy!

So delicious with whipped cream!

I made this Plum and Raspberry Fruit Pie with whipped cream but you might want to try it also with some vanilla ice cream.

Or, make this fruit pie with other fruits that are in the season.
